EDISON, N.J. — The Quinnipiac women's outdoor track and field program is picked to top the MAAC once again, this time in the outdoor track and field season, the league announced on Friday in a poll voted on by the league's head coaches.
Quinnipiac was selected first in the women's poll, compiling 140 points, while receiving nine first place votes. The Bobcats will look to sweep the 2025-26 season, after winning the 2025 cross country championship in the fall and the 2026 indoor championship during the winter. The cross country trophy was the sixth overall for Quinnipiac, while the indoor crown was the first in program history. The Bobcats are in search of their first outdoor crown, finishing fourth at the outdoor championship a season ago.
Perennial favorites Rider received the 12th first-place vote, while Mount St. Mary's and Manhattan round out the top five.
The Bobcats are led by a pair of senior leaders from the indoor season, with Nyasia Dailey going undefeated in the 60m sprint during the indoor campaign, including a MAAC-record 7.39 run at Yale and a Championship record 7.40 en route to her third consecutive conference title in the event.
Izzie Anzaldo was named the Women's Most Valuable Performer, claiming the crown in the 200m and 400m individual races and was part of the MAAC-winning 4x400 relay. She also was named the Most Outstanding Women's Track Performer in the meet.
The outdoor season begins the last week of March with the Bobcats trekking to North Carolina for the Raleigh Relays. All roads lead to Mount St. Mary's for the 2026 MAAC Championships, held May 9 and 10 in Emmitsburg, Md.
