- Blocked 26 shots and had eight games with two or more blocks
- Opened the season with his first career goal, assist and two-point game in a 9-2 win vs. Sacred Heart on Dec. 14

- Played the last two seasons in the NAHL, most recently with the Amarillo Bulls
- Recorded seven goals and 22 assists for 29 points in 60 games this season
- Opened the 2016-17 NAHL season with the Minot Minotauros where he had three assists in 20 games before recording two goals and three assists for five points for Amarillo to close the season
- Attended Shattuck-St. Mary's prep before playing in the NAHL
Personal
- Raised in Hastings, Minnesota
- Son of Marc and Lynn Chorney
- Has one brother, Taylor, and two sisters, Terra and Nicole
- Father, Marc, won the 1980 NCAA Championship and was a four-year player at North Dakota and went on to play parts of four seasons in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Los Angeles Kings
- Brother, Taylor, also played three seasons at North Dakota and was on two USA World Junior Championship teams before playing parts of eight seasons from 2008-09 to 2017-18 in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals and Columbus Blue Jackets
