EDISON, N.J. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team placed five on the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Conference teams, the league announced on Friday morning.
Highlighting the selections was Cate Bendowski and Emma Miller-Ayala, who earned first-team accolades after stellar seasons. Julia Givens and Mia Delmond were voted to the league's second team and Brie Provenzano earned a spot on the All-Rookie team in a process voted on by the league's 12 head coaches.
It is the first time in program history the Bobcats put multiple players on the All-MAAC First Team and the four players selected to the first and second team tie for the most in the program's MAAC history.
Bendowski lit up the scoreboard during the 2026 campaign, breaking the program's single-season points record with 74 and counting on the year. She is 11th in the country with 46 assists on the year, a mark that also puts her second in the conference. Her 74 points were second-most in the league, behind Mount's Brooke Molchanoff.
Miller-Ayala is a little-bit-of-everything midfielder, contributing in multiple ways on the stat sheet for the Bobcats. She finished the year with 34 goals, 43 points, 21 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and 54 draw controls to pitch in everywhere for Quinnipiac. She recorded a point in all but one game, a draw control in every game and finished with five games where she recorded a point, ground ball, caused turnover and ground ball.
In her first season in Hamden, Givens made an immediate offensive impact, finishing second on the team with 38 goals on the year. She scored in all but one game this season and really turned on her offensive output in conference games, posting hat tricks in five of her eight league outings and a total of 22 of her 38 during MAAC contests.
Delmond capped her career with yet another All-MAAC accolade, finishing atop the team with 41 goals on the year, good for third in the league. Her 49 points are also top ten in the MAAC. Her goal output this season put her in elite program company, joining Kyra Ochwat and Marissa Caroleo as the only Bobcats to post 40-goal seasons twice in their Bobcat careers.
Provenzano was a consistent presence amongst the top rookies in the league this season, earning a trio of MAAC Rookie of the Week honors en route to the All-Rookie selection. She finished top ten in the league in both assists (20) and assists per game (1.25), posting a point in all but one league game.
Quinnipiac secured back-to-back MAAC postseason berths for the first time in its program history and also clinched consecutive winning seasons, a mark that hasn't happened since the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
They will open the postseason on Sunday, heading to third-seeded Canisius for a 12 PM first draw in Buffalo. The winner heads to the semifinals against either Fairfield or Niagara in Connecticut the following weekend.
