
Bobcats Sweep Merrimack, Extend MAAC Win Streak to Six

Game One
Quinnipiac opened the scoring in the second inning with RBI singles from Riley Potter and Aryn Bombery.

Merrimack chipped away with a run in the fifth and tied the game in the seventh to force extra innings.
In the eighth, Mary Fogg led off with a single before Sofia Vega delivered the game-winning RBI triple, her second triple of the season.

Shannon Kendall earned her 10th win of the year, tossing her eighth complete game. Kendall allowed two runs on six hits and struck out three.
Game Two
Merrimack jumped out to an early 4-0 lead on five hits in the top of the first.
The Bobcats got on the board in the bottom of the inning on a sac fly from Natalia Apatiga, allowing Sofia Vega to score.
The Warriors would extend their lead 5-1 with a run in the second.
Quinnipiac answered once again, scoring two more runs in the bottom of the second on a two-run single by Vega.

After a scoreless third and fourth, Merrimack tacked on two more runs in the fifth to make it 7-3.
The Bobcats began their comeback in the fifth, scoring five runs highlighted by RBI hits from Kennedy Demott, Riley Potter, and Noelle Reid, whose two-run single gave Quinnipiac its first lead of the game.
Quinnipiac added two more insurance runs in the sixth on a two-run double from Potter and a sac fly by Kinsley Cox to seal the 11-7 victory.

Kendall picked up her second win of the day and 11th of the season in relief, tossing three scoreless innings while allowing three hits and striking out two.
Quinnipiac improves to 10-1 in conference play.
