HOW IT HAPPENED
The Yale Bulldogs came to play in the opening inning, striking for six runs to give them an early lead in this one.
Yale tacked on another run in the second inning as they took the field in the bottom half with a seven-run lead. Quinnipiac got a run back as Chase Camac grounded out, allowing Christian Smith to come home with the Bobcats' first run of the game.
Yale answered right back in the third inning, scoring two more runs as their lead was 9-1 after the first three innings of play.
The score would remain 9-1 until the home half of the fifth inning, when the Bobcats' offense exploded for eleven runs in the inning. Caden Williamson started the scoring in the inning, singling home Ian Nilsen with their second run of the game. Quinnipiac tacked on another run as Matt Park came home on a Kyle Garbowski single. With only one out in the inning, Alex Irizarry hit a sac fly to bring QU within five. Now with two away in the inning, Christian Smith delivered with a two-run double down the left field line, bringing the Bobcats within four. Chase Camac would make it a two-run game as he scored two more runs on a single to center field. James Marino came in to score on a passed ball to make it a one-run game, and Matt Park would knot it up at nine with a single to right field. With two outs and two runners on, Brayden Hromada launched his first collegiate homer to put the Bobcats in front for the first time of the afternoon.
Later in the seventh inning, Quinnipiac pushed their lead to 15-9. Caden Williamson flew out to center, scoring Ian Nilsen from third for the first run of the inning. Later in the inning, Irizarry singled to left center, scoring another two runs and giving the Bobcats a six-run lead.

- Eight different Bobcats recorded hits in the series comeback win over Yale. Of those eight batters, five recorded multiple hits.
- Caden Williamson, Matt Park, and Brayden Hromada each picked up three hits in the win.
