Miller-Ayala, Stingy Defense Power Bobcats to First Win of 2026

DURHAM, N.H. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse program earned its first win of the season on Sunday afternoon, knocking off New Hampshire by a 12-7 final in Durham.
The Bobcats flew out of the gates, scoring the game's first six goals with two each coming from Emma Miller-Ayala and Giordan Peck. Miller-Ayala finished the game with a team-high four points.
Quinnipiac's lead grew as big as seven, with Brie Provenzano's tally with 2:35 left in the third making it 10-3 and the Bobcats were able to control the rest of the afternoon.
Cate Bendowski also had a three-point afternoon to help lead the Bobcats offensively. Shannon Alden made 11 saves on 18 shots on her cage in the victory.

STATS AND NOTES
- Along with the four points, Miller-Ayala also totaled four ground balls and five draw controls. All three of those are season bests, with the four points and four ground balls setting new high marks for her collegiate career.
- Peck recorded her first, multi-goal outing in a Bobcat uniform.
- Mia Delmond jumped up to ninth all-time in program career goals, scoring her 102nd and 103rd on Sunday.
- Brie Provenzano continued her hot week, finishing with five points after posting two on Sunday.
- The Bobcats' 12 goals and 16 points are early-season bests.
