No. 7 Bobcats Celebrate Senior Night with Win Over Brown

HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team clinched an ECAC opening-round bye with a 5-2 victory over Brown on Friday night.
Taylor Brueske opened the scoring early for the Bobcats, netting her eighth goal of the season and extending her goal streak to three straight games.
Just 17 seconds later, Aynsley D'Ottavio doubled the lead off a feed from Tessa Holk for her fourth goal of the year.
Less than two minutes later, D'Ottavio scored her second of the game to make it 3-0.
Brown responded later with a goal from Jade Iginla to close the first period.
The Bears' Monique Lyons tallied the lone goal of the second period, cutting the deficit to one.
Midway through the third, Zoe Uens added an insurance goal through traffic, her eighth of the season.
Kahlen Lamarche sealed the victory with an empty-net goal, her 33rd of the season.
Felicia Frank made 29 saves to earn her 23rd win of the year.
Senior Tatum Blacker made her season debut in relief with 42 seconds remaining, stopping both shots she faced.
