No. 5 Bobcats Record Second-Largest Shutout in Program History

HAMDEN, CT – The No. 5 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team recorded the third-most goals and second-largest shutout victory in program history on Tuesday night, defeating Post 10-0 at M&T Bank Arena.
14 different Bobcats registered a point, with six players posting multi-point performances. Quinnipiac scored four goals in both the first and second periods before adding two more in the third to reach double digits. The Bobcats also tallied three power-play goals, tying a program record for most in a single game.
Avery Bairos, Kahlen Lamarche, and Annika Stock led the offense with three points apiece, while Bairos and Aynsley D'Ottavio each recorded multi-goal performances.
The night also featured a pair of collegiate milestones, as Regan Berglund scored her first career goal and Stock registered her first career points with three assists.
Natalia Dilbone earned her second victory of the season and first collegiate shutout, stopping all eight shots she faced.

The Bobcats return to action on Friday, Oct. 16, hosting No. 7 Northeastern for a 6 p.m. puck drop. Quinnipiac will then welcome alumni back to Hamden on Saturday, Oct. 17, celebrating its 2026 ECAC Championship team with a banner-raising ceremony and postgame ring presentation.
