HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has added another transfer to its 2025 roster, with the addition of Flavio Di Palma as revealed by head coach Eric Da Costa Tuesday morning.
Di Palma joins the Bobcats as a junior from Governors State University. He is originally from Sabaudia, Italy and will play left back for the Bobcats.
"What initially drew me to Quinnipiac was the combination of strong academics and an ambitious soccer program," said Di Palma. "I was impressed by the sense of community within the athletic department. After speaking with the coaches and players, I could tell it was a place where I could grow both on and off the field."
The junior is "looking forward to being part of a team with high standards and shared goals. I'm excited to challenge myself and contribute to the team's success."
Di Palma appeared in 29 games for Governors State University over the last two seasons, starting 21. In those games he tallied four goals and four assists, including a game-winning goal over Trinity Christian.
"I hope to develop as a player and as a person," Di Palma said on his hopes for coming to Quinnipiac. "On the field, I aim to make an impact, help the team win championships, and push myself to reach new levels. Academically, I want to take full advantage of the resources available and grow in my field of study."
