HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has announced the addition of Sixten Karlsson, as announced by Head Coach Eric Da Costa on Wednesday morning.
Karlsson joins the Bobcats from Sweden as a First Year student-athlete. He will play full back for the Bobcats.
"What first drew my attention to Quinnipiac University was its status as a Division I school, which signaled a high level of competition and professionalism. It seemed like the ideal environment to grow not only as a footballer but also academically and personally," said Karlsson. "I was also impressed by Quinnipiac's 3+1 Business Program, which presents a unique opportunity to earn both a bachelor's and a master's degree in just four years — something that really stood out to me."
Karlsson looks forward to "meeting new people and building strong relationships with (his) teammates, classmates, and the university community."
"During my time at Quinnipiac, I aim to continue developing as a footballer and contribute to a winning culture. I also hope to grow personally, make lifelong friendships, and lay a strong foundation for both my athletic and academic future," said Karlsson.
