Men's Lacrosse Falls in MAAC Semifinals

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Quinnipiac men's lacrosse program's postseason run came to an end in the semifinal round of the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference playoffs on Thursday afternoon, falling to Sacred Heart by a 18-11 final at the Campus Field.
The Pioneers came out hot, scoring seven of the games first eight goals to secure control of the contest but Nate Watson was able to power the offense back within three, finalizing his first-half hat trick to make it 7-4 with 8:46 to go in the half.
Sacred Heart retook control, however, stifling the Bobcat run for the rest of the half and scoring thrice in the final 2:36 to go up six at halftime.
Watson finished the day with three goals and three assists, while Nick Meoni was all over the midfield securing four ground balls and three caused turnovers.

STATS AND NOTES
- Watson secured his third consecutive hat trick and his fourth consecutive game of three or more points. He posted his second-best point total of the season with six.
- Johnny Karafa posted the third multi-goal game of his career and first since March 15 against Marist.
- Nick Meoni matched his career-high with three caused turnovers, while adding a pair of goals. It was his second multi-goal game of the year and the second straight performance with three caused turnovers.
- Justin Robbert posted his fourth straight multi-point outing, finishing with a goal and two assists.
- Mason Oak posted 16 saves on the day, his fifth straight performance of 10 or more saves.
