Quinnipiac Falls vs. Sacred Heart on Saturday

HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac Men's Lacrosse dropped a MAAC matchup vs. Sacred Heart, 12-7, on Saturday afternoon at the QU Lacrosse Stadium.
Ryan Goodman and Nick Meoni both scored two goals to help lead QU's offensive charge. Mason Oak made 18 more saves in front of the cage for the Bobcats.
Sacred Heart led 9-1 at the midway point, then the Bobcats scored five straight times to begin the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to 11-7.
John Murray led the Pioneers with three goals and one helper. Eight different Pioneers scored in total.

- Tommy Bull scored for the Pioneers to end the run.
- Mason Oak impressed once again with 18 saves. The senior has 140 saves over 11 contests this year.
- Nick Smith won 7-of-9 battles in the faceoff x.
- Glenn Platania and Ryan Downing each caused a pair of turnovers for the Bobcats. Platania led QU with six ground balls.
- Total shots finished 49-37 in favor of Sacred Heart. The Pioneers forced 16 Quinnipiac miscues.
- SHU has taken each of the last four matchups against the Bobcats. Quinnipiac is 5-7 against Sacred Heart since 2000.
