Bobcats Drop Second Round Contest at Siena

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse program had its season come to a close on Sunday afternoon, falling 15-9 to third-seeded Siena in the second round of the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference women's lacrosse playoffs.
The Bobcats finish the campaign with their second, double-digit win season in the last three years, tying the most wins by a Quinnipiac team since 2011.
The hosts got off to a hot start, scoring four of the game's first five goals and getting four saves in the cage from their goalkeeper, establishing a lead they would not relinquish.
Quinnipiac rallied back in the second, cutting the deficit to 6-5 with 2:10 to go in the second but they could not bring the game even. They had appeared to on a Peyton Choma tally but it was ruled that her stick landed in the crease, negating the goal.
Siena would go on to score the game's next five goals, seizing control.

- Quinnipiac also secured a double-digit win season in 2023, a year in which they also added a postseason victory to their resume.
- Both EllaGrace and Mia Delmond joined the 50-goal club with their outputs on Sunday, becoming the second and third players in program history to reach that mark, joining Marissa Caroleo who scored 53 in 2011.
- Abby Wise finishes fifth in a single season with 35 assists on the campaign. Her 68 points are good for second all-time, two shy of Katie Latonick's program record.
- She finished with 62 assists on her career, which is fifth-best in program history and the most by any player since Sarah Allen '13.
- EllaGrace Delmond culminates her Bobcat career with 124 goals to her name, good for fourth on the all-time charts, and 152 points, which places her tenth.
- Shannon Alden finished the year with 169 total saves, placing her eighth on the program leaderboard.
