With a runner on first and third, a fake steal drew a threw down to second, allowing James Marino to scamper home from third. A double steal would force in another run as CJ Willis scored on a throwing error.
Iona made it a one-run game in their half of the eighth inning, scoring on a wild pitch and on a fielder's choice.
