Bobcats Defeat Kansas City on Sunday Afternoon

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Quinnipiac softball team domintated UMKC 8-0 on Sunday afternoon at Mizzou Softball Stadium.

QU took an early lead, scoring three runs in the first inning, including a Natalia Apatiga RBI triple. QU scored runs in the fourth, fifith, and sixth inning to push their lead.

STATS & NOTES

Natalia Apatiga registered the first triple of her college career.
Mia Rubirosa had the first multi-hit game of her career.
Mary Fogg extended her team-leading on base streak to 10.
She also leads the Bobcats in multi-hit games, notching her fourth of the season.
Sydney Horan pitched her second complete-game shutout of the season.
