Gonzalez has Career Day in Wins over Morgan State and Syracuse

NEWARK, Del. – The Quinnipiac softball team went 2-0 in its first day at the Blue Hen Invitational, defeating both Morgan State and Syracuse.
In game one, the Bobcats fell behind but came back with 10 runs between the third and fourth innings. Jaelyn Gonzalez led the way with three RBIs while Kennedy Demott hit QU's first homer of the season.
In game two, QU also had a slow start but tacked runs on in the third, fourth, and fifth innings to secure the lead. Jaelyn Gonzalez and Sofia Vega each had RBI doubles.
