Bobcats Sign Winger Mateo Balbino

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has announced the signing of winger Mateo Balbino, as revealed by Head Coach Eric Da Costa and the Bobcats on Tuesday afternoon.
Balbino will join the Bobcats from Ludlow, Mass. as a first year. He currently plays club for Connecticut FC in the ECNL as well as Choate Rosemary Hall in nearby Wallingford, Conn.
"What first drew me to Quinnipiac were the facilities, the coaching staff, and the opportunity to continue my passion at a high level," said Balbino.
Balbino looks forward to learning and growing as both an athlete and a person, and hopes, "to help the team win the MAAC Championship and make it to the national tournament."
