College Basketball Insider Jon Rothstein to Serve as Keynote Speaker

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's basketball program is set to kick off the 2024-25 season with a Tip-Off Reception at M&T Bank Arena on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024.
The event will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the University Club at M&T Bank Arena. The keynote speaker at the event will be college basketball insider Jon Rothstein (CBS Sports / College Hoops Today Podcast), and the night will also feature remarks from Director of Athletics Greg Amodio and Quinnipiac Head Coach Tom Pecora.
Cost to attend will be $50 ($25 for any Quinnipiac faculty/staff). Please register for the event by CLICKING HERE. $50 per person includes the reception (food and drinks) and the formal presentation.
ABOUT JON ROTHSTEIN:
The Bobcats finished off a benchmark 2023-24 campaign with 24 total wins (new program record). Quinnipiac won its first-ever MAAC regular season title under first-year Head Coach Tom Pecora. QU also set a new program mark for total points in a single season (2,630).
Quinnipiac's 19-4 start over their first 23 games marked the program's best start to a year since the 1965-66 campaign. QU won 10 consecutive games from Jan. 5 – Feb. 8. The Bobcats finished the month of January with a 7-0 record, marking the first perfect month in the university's Division I history.

ABOUT JON ROTHSTEIN:
- Jon Rothstein has been a college basketball insider for CBS Sports since 2010 and a contributor to the CBS Broadcast Network since 2016, serving as both a sideline reporter and studio analyst. Since 2021, he has served as part of CBS Sports and Turner Sports' coverage of the NCAA Tournament.
- In 2022, Rothstein signed an exclusive deal as a content creator for FanDuel.
- In addition to his role with CBS Sports, Rothstein has served as a national columnist for both CBSSports.com and FanRag Sports. His work has also been featured in both the New York Times and Sports Illustrated.
- Rothstein also hosts the "College Hoops Today Podcast" via Compass Media, the only college basketball podcast that runs 52 weeks out of the calendar year. He is also an in-studio correspondent for both WFAN and CBS Sports Radio.
