Da Costa, Bobcats Reveal Fall Slate

QU Set for 10 Home Games During 2024 Season
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer returns to the pitch on August 22 beginning its 2024 slate at Providence College, as announced by Head Coach Eric Da Costa and the Bobcats on Monday afternoon.

The Bobcats' full 2024 schedule will feature 16 games in total, with 10 taking place at home in Hamden. After traveling to Providence, the Bobcats will go back to the ocean state on August 26 to face URI.
QU will then begin a six-game homestand spanning nearly a month, starting with Columbia on August 30 for the home opener. The homestand will continue with St. Bonaventure on September 7 and CCSU on September 10.
The last three games in that span will feature home contests against La Salle on September 14, Yale on September 24, and FDU on September 26.
The Bobcats will start October on the road and begin their MAAC schedule at Sacred Heart University on October 5. They will stay on the road and travel to New Jersey to face Rider on October 12. QU returns home to host four of their last six matchups in Hamden, first with Marist on October 19 before heading back to the road to face Manhattan College on October 23.
Da Costa and the Bobcats will celebrate the senior class on October 26 when they host Iona. QU will also host Merrimack on October 30 before one more road matchup at Niagara.
On November 6, the Bobcats will host Fairfield to finish the regular season.
The Bobcats are led by Head Coach Eric Da Costa in his 20th season in 2024. He has led the Bobcats to a 148-133-60 mark during his time in Hamden. QU has won two MAAC Tournament titles (2013, 2022) since joining the league a decade ago. The Bobcats also return 2022 All-MAAC Second Team goalkeeper Karl Netzell to help anchor the defensive unit.
