Golf Sits In First Place After Day One Of FDU Invitational

HAMBURG, NJ. – After day one (36 holes) at the FDU Invitational the Quinnipiac women's golf program sits in first place (+28) out of 15 teams.
Aimee Uchida sits at the top of the leaderboard after day one of the Invitational. Uchida shot a -3 (69) in round one and finished day one on par (E).
Leeyen Peralta sits right behind Uchida in second place after she finished the two rounds at a +2. Peralta finished round one a +2 (74) and round two on par (72).
First year Alexia Egdahl currently sits in a tie for 12th place heading into the final day. Egdahl was a +3 (75) after the first 18 holes before wrapping up day one at a +9.
Fuge Zhang finished day one in a four-way tie for 30th place. Zhang finished the two rounds a +18 (162).
Emily Luu rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping and sits in 53rd place after the first 36 holes of competition. Luu finished a +25 (169) on the day after finishing round one a +20 (92).
Riley Carey competed as an individual and sits in a tie for 57th place (+27).
The Bobcats will be back in action on April 8th as they conclude play at the FDU Invitational at the Crystal Springs Country Club in Hamburg, NJ.
