Bobcats Close Out Fall Season With Lady Blue Hen Invitational

Rehoboth Beach, D.E. - The Quinnipiac women's golf team had a solid final day of play at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational, hosted by the University of Delaware, on Sunday morning. As a team, the Bobcats shot a 293, which was the second-best team score on the final day.
Samantha Galantini was the highest finisher for the Bobcats as she finished in a tie for fifth place. Galantini closed out her weekend with a score of 70 (-2) in the final round on Sunday. Galantini finished with a three-round total of 219 (+3).
Tekla Fine-Lease finished the Invitational on a high note as she shot a 72 (E) in the final round. Fine-Lease finished the tournament with a three-round total score of 224 (+8).
Sophia Fujita finished the Lady Blue Hen Invitational with a two-day total of 228 (+12). Her best round of the weekend came in the opening round, when she carded a 74 (+2).
Natalie Spiska finished one stroke behind Fujita with a three-round score of 229 (+13). Spiska shot a 75 (+3) in the final two rounds of play after shooting a 79 (+7) in the first round.
Marisa Flores rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping with a tournament total of 231 (+15). Flores shot a 76 (+4) on Sunday to close out the Invitational.
The Bobcats wrapped up their fall tournament schedule and will be back in action with the first tournament of their spring season on February 21-22 at the Columbia Classic in Melbourne, Florida.
