Golf Returns To Competition With Trip To FDU Invitational

HAMBURG, N.J. – The Quinnipiac women's golf program is back in action as they travel to Hamburg, New Jersey to compete at the FDU Knights Invitational. Rounds one and two will be played on April 7th and the final round will be played on Monday, April 8th at the Crystal Springs Golf Club.

- The Bobcats will travel to Hamburg, New Jersey to compete at the FDU Invitational, which is being held at the Crystal Springs Golf Club.
- The Bobcats will play 36 holes on day one of the tournament before wrapping up day two with 18 holes.
- The Bobcats were last in action on March 12 when they wrapped up play at the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational.
- Captain Leeyen Peralta captured the crown as she shot a 146 (+2) to win her third tournament of the year.
- The Bobcats finished the two-day tournament in second place out of 16 teams.
- Leeyen Peralta returns for her fifth year in the fall of 2023.
- She competed in 11 events and averaged 74.52 strokes per round.
- Her average 74.52 strokes per round is an all-time program best.
- Peralta earned six top-10 finishes and five top-five finishes on the campaign.
- She recorded a team-best 68 birdies on the season, while also setting the program record
- Her 11 rounds for par or better tied the program record.
- Peralta earned All-MAAC honors for the third straight season.
