Quinnipiac defeats No. 7 Frostburg State, setting up semifinal matchup with No. 3 Gannon
FAIRMONT, W. Va. — The Quinnipiac Acrobatics & Tumbling program advanced to yet another national semifinal on Thursday afternoon, defeating No. 7 Frostburg State to move one step closer to the program's first national championship.
The Bobcats have advanced to the national semifinals for the seventh consecutive season and have won at least one matchup in the NCATA Tournament in all but one rendition since the tournament started.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Bobcats started strong in compulsory, posting a 9.725 in the pyramid heat while scoring 9.800 in the toss.
Acro 5 then posted the best of the three in that event, as Quinnipiac extended its lead.
Tiffany Zieba highlighted a strong finish to the tumbling event for the Bobcats, as the second of back-to-back 9.7's or higher to close out the individual portions of the meet.

Quinnipiac advances to rematch with No. 3 Gannon on Friday evening at 4:30 p.m., at Joe Retton Arena. The Bobcats defeated the Golden Knights 277.610-270.345 back on April 6 at M&T Bank Arena.
