Bobcats End MAAC Championship In A Tie For Second Place

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL – The Quinnipiac women's golf program season has come to an end as the Bobcats finished in a tie for second place at the 2024 MAAC Championships at Disney's Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Leeyen Peralta finished the three-day tournament with a score of 217 (+1) after shooting a 72 (E) on the final round. Peralta was named to the All-MAAC team due to her performance in the MAAC Championships.
Aimee Uchida rose six spots on the final day as she shot a 70 (-2) to give her a tournament total of 223 (+7) and put her in seventh place. With a top-10 performance, Uchida was named to the All-MAAC team.
Samantha Galantini rounded out the top-10, finishing in 10th place with a three-day total of 228 (+12). Galantini shot a 76 (+4) on the final day, which helped her secure the MAAC Rookie of the Year.
Fuge Zhang came in a three-way tie for 11th place with a tournament total of 229 (+13). Zhang carded a 77 (+5) on the final day of the tournament.
Alexia Egdahl rounded out the grouping as she shot a 73 (+1) on day three, which gives her a total of 153 after taking the place of Natalie Spiska.
