Germain Helps Power QU Past Brown in Snowy Hamden

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Men's Lacrosse outlasted Brown by the final score of 13-7 on Saturday afternoon, improving to 2-0 on the 2024 season.
Steven Germain led the Bobcats offensively with four goals and three assists (seven total points).
Ryan Donnery chipped in with three goals and a helper, while Evan Perry and John DeLucia each added two scores.
Mason Oak made 15 saves in front of the cage to help lead the Bobcats to another win.
Max Pauwels went 12-for-24 in the faceoff x, scooping up six ground balls.

NOTES
- The Bobcats recorded 39 total shots in the win.
- QU went 18-of-20 on clear attempts.
- Steven Germain now has 10 points over QU's first two games in 2024. He's up to 94 career points in 36 contests.
- Ryan Donnery added three goals and one helper – giving him 10 points over the first two contests of the new campaign.
- Jake Tellers scored his first goal of the year and added two more assists.
- John DeLucia scored twice (five goals in 2024) and Evan Perry added a pair of scores (three goals in 2024).
- Trevor Douglas chipped in with a goal of his own, which came with 3:50 remaining in the first quarter.
- Mason Oak has made 34 saves and allowed just 18 goals over a pair of Quinnipiac wins. He made eight stops in the first half of this afternoon's victory over Brown, then seven stops in the second half.
- Ryan Donnery, Ryan Downing, Luca Cutolo and Tommy Shaughnessy each caused a pair of turnovers for the Bobcats.
- QU is now 4-11 all-time against Brown. The Bobcats have taken each of the last two meetings.
- The Bobcats return to play on Saturday, Feb. 24, traveling to Bryant to continue the non-league slate. Game time in Rhode Island is set for 12:00 PM.
