Monteserin Tabbed for Two MAAC Weekly Awards

EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac men's soccer forward Andrew Monteserin has been awarded both the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week as well as MAAC Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Friday afternoon.
Monteserin helped lead the Bobcats to the playoffs with his heroics in the final two games of the regular season. He notched two goals, including the game-tying goal against Fairfield in QU's 3-1 win on Wednesday afternoon. He also scored the game-winning goal on Saturday afternoon in the Bobcat's 1-0 win at Niagara.
Monteserin and the Bobcats are back in action on Sunday afternoon, hosting Marist in the quarterfinal round of the MAAC Men's Soccer tournament.
