Netzell, Cabezas Receive All-MAAC Honors

EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac men's soccer captains Karl Netzell and Noe Cabezas were both named to the All-MAAC Third Team, as announced by the league office Monday morning.
Netzell finds himself receiving All-MAAC honors for a second time in his career, he was named to the All-MAAC Second Team as a first year in 2022. This is the first All-MAAC selection for Cabezas after having career highs in several categories.
The duo led the Bobcats in minutes on the pitch, with Netzell logging 1,474 in goal and Cabezas logging 1,362 minutes in the midfield. Cabezas also had a career-high three goals.

The Bobcats also placed 16 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. QU was had the second most selections in the conference.
