Smith Announces 2024 Softball Schedule

HAMDEN, Conn.— Quinnipiac Softball has announced its spring 2024 schedule, as revealed by Head Coach Hillary Smith on Monday, Jan. 15.
The Bobcats will be playing in 31 matchups with 14 doubleheaders. They will play 16 games in Hamden.
They will open the season at Arkansas Pine Bluff on Feb. 10-11 before heading to Madeira, Fl. to face Monmouth and Albany on March 1. They will also play Southern Indiana and St. Bonaventure on March 2. On March 3, they will face Western Michigan.
On March 10 they will participate in the Norfolk State Invitational with Syracuse, Le Moyne, Norfolk State, and Youngstown State in Norfolk, VA.
They will then face UNLV on March 11 in Norfolk, VA. before traveling to Hampton, VA to face Hampton in a doubleheader on March 13. The Bobcats will then return up north, traveling to Chestnut Hill, MA to face Boston College.
QU will open MAAC play on March 23-24 before heading to Teaneck, NJ. to face FDU in a doubleheader on March 30.
The Bobcats home opener is on Apr. 6-7, hosting Iona in Hamden for a weekend series. They will then hit the road for two straight series', traveling to Jersey City, NJ. to face St. Peter's on Apr. 9-10. and Mount Apr. 13-14.
QU Softball will then begin a five game homestand. Hosting Sacred Heart for a doubleheader on Apr. 17 and Niagara for a weekend series on Apr. 20-21.
They will take the short trip to Fairfield for a series on Apr. 23-24 against Fairfield University. The Bobcats will finish the regular season at home for their last eight games. This includes a weekend series against Manhattan on Apr. 27-28, a doubleheader versus Stonehill on May 2 and a weekend series against Rider on May 4-5 to finish the regular season.
The MAAC conference tournament will run from May 8 to May 11.
