2023 Season to Begin on Long Island

STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Quinnipiac men's cross country team begins its 2023 campaign on Saturday morning, taking on the Stony Brook Season Opener at 10:30 a.m.

The Bobcats have a five-meet regular season schedule, highlighted by the Sept. 30 Paul Short Run and the New England Championships one week later.

MAAC PRESEASON POLL

The Bobcats were selected 9th in the league's annual coaches' poll, released on Aug. 23.
Quinnipiac was one point behind Fairfield, who the squad bested at the NCAA Regional meet a season ago.
Iona was unanimously voted the preseason favorites, with Siena and Marist finalizing the top three.

BOBCATS RELEASE 2023 SCHEDULE

Quinnipiac opens its season at the Stony Brook Season Opener on Sept. 2, a meet the Bobcats finished sixth in a year ago.
The Bobcats will get their first look at the MAAC Championship course at the Twin Ponds Invitational in Montgomery, N.Y., on Sept. 16 before the Paul Short Run.
After the New England Championships, head coach David Scrivines' club will complete championship season at the ECAC meet on Oct. 13 and the MAAC Championships on Oct. 28.
