Bobcats Place Third at Stony Brook Season Opener

STONY BROOK, N.Y. — The Quinnipiac men's cross country team placed three in the top 16, besting fellow Metro Conference foes Sacred Heart by nine points to finish third at the 2026 Stony Brook Season Opener on Saturday.
Junior Alex Saldana and sophomore Tyler Deme paced the Bobcats, finishing in 20:05.6 and 20:10.0, respectively. They earned 13th and 14th places, while Shepard Livingston clocked in at 20:15.6 to finish 16th.
Quinnipiac as a team finished the day with 85 points.
