Saldana's Top 10 Finish Paces Bobcats to Fifth at Jasper Invite

MONTGOMERY, N.Y. — The Quinnipiac men's cross country team finished fifth at the Jasper Fall XC Invite on Saturday afternoon, besting three of the six Metro Conference teams in attendance.

Led by a ninth-place finish from Alex Saldana, the Bobcats earned 144 points which bested fellow league competitor Fairfield for the top five spot.

Quinnipiac stared the first mile in 10^th, climbing up the ranks to seventh at the 3.2K mark and fifth at the 6.2K mark, where they would finish.
