Bobcats Sign Defensive Midfielder Jacob Garrigues

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has announced the signing of Jacob Garrigues, as revealed by Head Coach Eric Da Costa and the Bobcats on June 15, 2023.
Garrigues, a defensive midfielder, will join the Bobcats for the upcoming fall season as a first-year student. The Concord, New Hampshire-native now currently resides in Arizona, where he plays at the Barcelona Soccer Academy.
"Quinnipiac seemed like a great fit for me, especially in regards to the team's playing style," Garrigues said. "I really liked the beautiful campus and soccer facilities, and I'm very excited to meet all of my teammates and play under the great coaching staff at QU.
Garrigues played for two years at Seacoast United in New Hampshire, then moved to Arizona to play for Barca Academy for his last two years of high school. He graduated with Summa Cum Laude status.
