Peralta Leads Bobcats at Palm Beach Regional

WEST PALM GARDENS, Fla. – Senior Leeyen Peralta shot a 74 (+2) in the second round of competition to lead the Bobcats on day two at the Palm Beach Regional held at the PGA National Resort Tuesday afternoon.
Quinnipiac sits in 12th place after two rounds with a score of 637 (+61) at the Palm Beach Regional. Michigan State leads the field at 581 (+5), three strokes ahead of second-place Northwestern (584; +8).
Leeyen Peralta leads Quinnipiac's grouping through two rounds at 151 (+7) to tie for 36th place. Peralta had her best round of the competition so far, shooting 74 (+2) on the day. Peralta picked up four birdies on the day, with two coming on her front nine and back nine.
Aimee Uchida follows, tying for 59th with a score of 161 (+17), while Meg Yoshida shot 162 (+18) through two rounds to tie for 61st. Kaylee Sakoda (63) and Fuge Zhang (64) rounded out Quinnipiac's scoring, shooting 163 (+19) and 166 (+22) through two rounds, respectively.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Wednesday, May 10, when they wrap play at the Palm Beach Regional.
