Pascual Homers, Bobcats Split Series against Saint Peter's

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Lala Pascual's two-run homer pushed the tides in the Bobcats favor as the Quinnipiac softball team defeated Saint Peter's 4-3, in game one of a doubleheader on Saturday, May 6. The Bobcats took an early lead in game two but the Peacocks responded fast and ultimately took game two by a score of 4-2 after three unanswered runs.

Second Inning-
- The Peacocks scored the first run of the day in the bottom of the second. A single up the middle from S. Wilson brought T. Turner home and the score 1-0 Peacocks.
- The Bobcats responded in the top of the fourth as Lala Pascual hit her third homer of the year, a two-run rocket to left center to push the Bobcats into the lead.
- Saint Peter's answered Pascual's homer with a one-run single to center to tie it up at two.
- A single from Natalia Apatiga down the left field line brought Mary Fogg home from second base and put the Bobcats back in the lead.
- The Peacocks answered again after the Bobcats scored a one-run single with a double to left center brought A. Kane home.
- With M. Fogg waiting on second, Apatiga doubled to left center to take game one against the Peacocks, 4-3.

- Mary Fogg went 3-4 with two runs.

- The Peacocks scored on a foul out to left that gave A. Kane time to cross home and even the score at one.
- Hannah Davis scored on a sacrifice flyout to center by Serena Fogg to regain a 1-0 lead.
- Saint Peter's added a two-run RBI single to take a 3-2 lead into the fourth.
- C. Fraher scored for the Peacocks on a sacrifice bunt to secure a 4-2 victory over the Bobcats.
NOTES
- Apatiga recorded her second double and third RBI on the afternoon.
