ELON, N.C. – The Quinnipiac baseball team looks to stay hot on the road as the Bobcats carry a four-game win streak to Elon for a three-game weekend set with the Phoenix. Game one is set for Friday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m.

- The Bobcats continued their 2023 campaign sweeping a four-game set at UMES
- Quinnipiac swept the Friday doubleheader, 5-1 and 8-6
- The Bobcats took the final two games on Sunday, 3-0 and 14-3

- Elon enters the weekend series at 4-5
- The Phoenix have dropped each of their last two contests

- Jared Zimbardo returns to Hamden for his junior campaign
- Zimbardo is batting .259 with seven hits, including three doubles and a homer
- Zimbardo batted a career-best .307 and boasted 50 hits and an on-base percentage of .380 last season
- He recorded career highs in runs scored (28), doubles (11), triples (2), home runs (6), RBIs (24), and stolen bases (7)

- Anthony Donofrio was the lone Quinnipiac player to earn All-MAAC Preseason honors heading into 2023
- Donofrio is batting .296 on the season, with eight hits, including two doubles and two homers

- In a 4-0 weekend for the Bobcats at UMES, Donofrio batted .412 with seven hits, including two doubles, two homers, and six RBIs
