QU Announces 2022 Schedule

18-Game Slate Begins on Aug. 25
HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac men's soccer program and Head Coach Eric Da Costa have announced the Bobcats' schedule for the 2022 season.
Quinnipiac's schedule features 18 regular season contests in total. The Bobcats will host nine home games at the QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden.
QU kicks off the 2022 campaign with an exhibition on the road against Stony Brook (Aug. 14), before hosting a second exhibition in Hamden against an opponent that has yet to be determined (Aug. 18).
The Bobcats will open the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 25, on the road at home against Boston College at the Newton Soccer Complex.
Quinnipiac has four home non-conference dates: Sept. 3 vs. Hartford, Sept. 10 vs. Central Connecticut State, Sept. 14 vs. Sacred Heart and Sept. 21 vs. Stonehill. The Bobcats also have four away non-league matches: Aug. 25 vs. Boston College, Aug. 30 vs. Vermont, Sept. 6 vs. Northeastern and Sept. 17 vs. Harvard.
QU begins MAAC play on Wednesday, Sept. 28, when the Bobcats travel to Loudonville, N.Y. for a date with Siena. The Bobcats then return home to the QU Soccer Field for their MAAC home opener against in-state rival Fairfield on Oct. 1.
The Bobcats' remaining road MAAC dates include: Oct. 12 vs. Rider, Oct. 19 vs Manhattan, Oct. 26 vs. Mount St. Mary's and Nov. 2 vs. Niagara. The Oct. 26 matchup against Mount St. Mary's will be the first meeting between QU and the MAAC newcomers since the 2012 season.
Other home MAAC dates for Quinnipiac include: Oct. 5 vs. Marist, Oct. 15 vs. Iona, Oct. 22 vs. Saint Peter's and Oct. 29 vs. Canisius.
The Bobcats finished the 2021 fall season with nine victories, including four in MAAC contests. QU has advanced to a postseason conference tournament in nine of its last 10 seasons and has accumulated a MAAC regular season record of 53-23-11 since joining the conference for the 2013 campaign.
