Women's Ice Hockey Adds Graduate Transfer Shay Maloney to 2022-23 Roster

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey program has announced the signing of Shay Maloney (McHenry, Ill.), as announced by head coach Cass Turner on Monday, May 23.
Maloney will join the Bobcats for the 2022-23 season as a graduate transfer from Brown University.
The McHenry, Ill., native has spent the last four seasons as one of Brown's offensive leaders. She served as the captain during the 2021-22 season and tallied a career-high 19 points on 11 goals and 8 assists. She was named the team's most valuable player for the third consecutive season and appeared in all 29 games. Maloney was also tabbed with an All-Ivy Honorable Mention accolades after the end of the regular season.

Before her time as a Brown Bear, Maloney was a three-time National Development Camp invitee and played for the Chicago Young Americans.
