QU Places 16 on MAAC All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. – The Quinnipiac baseball team placed 16 student-athletes on the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Baseball All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Monday, May 23.
Quinnipiac tied with Niagara for fourth-most all-academic team selections in the conference, trailing only Marist (17), Monmouth (20), Fairfield (21) and Canisius (22). The Bobcats have placed at least 10 players on the MAAC All-Academic Team every season since joining the conference in the 2014 season, and last season had set a new program-best with 23 selections.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
A total of 168 student-athletes from the 11 MAAC Baseball teams were honored for their work in the classroom in the 2021-22 academic year.
