"We are always excited for the opportunity to play at Dunkin 'Donuts Park, but this year will be especially memorable," head coach John Delaney said. "We are thrilled to play at such a beautiful facility in front of our families, friends and supporters. I can't wait for our student-athletes to hear the cheers from the crowd and feel the energy at the park."
The Bobcats' history inside Dunkin' Donuts Park runs deep. In 2017, the Quinnipiac baseball team played the first-ever game inside the brand new ballpark. The Bobcats fell short against local rival Hartford, 6-4, in front of 2,910 fans on April 11. Two days later, the Yard Goats opened their 2017 regular season.
After 19 consecutive road games to open the season, the Bobcats will be back in action on Friday, April 1 when QU plays host to Canisius in its MAAC and home-opener. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. from the QU Baseball Field.
