FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse fell at Sacred Heart, 13-10, on the road on Friday night at Campus Field.

Demitri George dominated the faceoff x once again, winning 19-of-27 battles.

Dylan Donnery registered three goals and one helper, and John DeLucia chipped in with two goals and two assists. Will Abbott added a pair of goals for QU.

SCORING SUMMARY

Sacred Heart got out to an early lead, taking a 6-2 advantage into the break in action. Jake Tellers and Dylan Donnery each scored once over the first 30 minutes.
The Bobcats would bounce back, however, as QU scored four-straight goals to begin the third quarter. Will Abbott's goal with 8:00 remaining in the third tied things 6-6.
SHU took a 9-8 advantage into the fourth quarter of action.
Steven Germain scored 1:17 into the fourth to tie the game once again (9-9).
The Pioneers would score four of the last five goals of the game, taking the non-conference matchup 13-10.

NOTES

Total shots were 43-37 in favor of SHU.
QU went 19-of-24 on clear attempts.
Demitri George won 19-of-27 faceoffs for the Bobcats, picking up a team-best 11 ground balls. George is now 71-117 (60.7%) on faceoffs so far through four games.
Dylan Donnery registered three goals and one helper for four total points. Donnery now has seven goals. He scored four times vs. UMass Lowell in the season opener, then three times vs. SHU on Friday night.
John DeLucia chipped in with two goals and two assists. He now has six points for the year.
Will Abbott added a pair of goals for QU. Abbott is up to 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists).
Ryan Donnery scored once and tallied two assists, Steven Germain scored once and assisted once, and Jake Tellers added a goal for QU.
CJ Gallagher caused a pair of turnovers to lead QU.
