BROOKVILLE, NY – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse fell at LIU, 12-7, on Wednesday morning at Bethpage Stadium.

Will Abbott led the Bobcats with four total points (2 goals, 2 assists). Steven Germain chipped in with two goals and one assist.

Demitri George went 14-of-23 in the faceoff x, and Nick DiMuccio made 15 more saves in front of the cage.

SCORING SUMMARY

Both teams scored twice in the first quarter of action, then LIU outscored Quinnipiac 3-2 in the second stanza to take a 5-4 lead into the break.
Steven Germain kicked off the scoring in the second half, finding the back of the cage with 7:42 left in the third quarter to tie things 5-5.
The Sharks outscored QU 5-1 in the fourth quarter of play.
