Women's Ice Hockey Ranks Top 3 in National Polls

HAMDEN, Conn.—Quinnipiac women's ice hockey moves to the national No. 3 sweeping Union and RPI to go 16-1-0 on the year. With their 5-0 shutout against Union and a 3-0 win over RPI the Bobcats extend their shutout streak to four games. QU received 260 points and four first place votes in the DCU/USCHO Poll and 251 points in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine College Hockey Poll, as announced by the organizations on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
The poll includes input from coaches and journalists who represent each of the NCAA Division I ice hockey conferences and composite votes from officers of the
American Hockey Coaches Association and USA Hockey.
