Hadjigavriel Wins Second Straight MAAC Weekly Honor

Sophomore Keeper Made 6 Saves in Shutout Win vs. Harvard
EDISON, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's soccer sophomore Antreas Hadjigavriel has been named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday, Sept. 20.
Hadjigavriel made six saves in a 1-0 win over Harvard on Saturday, Sept. 18 at the QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden. The Bobcats' defense recorded its third clean sheet of the season in the victory – as Hadjigavriel now owns a 4-0-0 record during the fall 2021 campaign.
The weekly honor is the second-consecutive award for the sophomore keeper, as Hadjigavriel also earned MAAC Defensive Player of the Week honors last week on Sept. 13.
Quinnipiac men's soccer is now 5-0-0 so far this season. The Bobcats are one of six remaining Division I programs that have not lost/tied a game yet this year.
QU is back in action on Tuesday night, as the Bobcats travel to nationally-ranked New Hampshire for a 6:00 PM start.
