He started in all nine games for QU, recording at least one point in six of the team's nine matches. Aasen was selected to the All-MAAC Team following his spring efforts, and was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Second Team.
Aasen, Tomas Svecula, Paulo Soares, Luke Allen, Henry Weigand and Jared Mazzola were all tabbed to the Preseason All-MAAC Team. The Bobcats earned six of the 12 All-MAAC squad selections in total.
