Bobcats Begin Season on Aug. 26 vs. Boston College in Hamden
- 2021 QUINNIPIAC MEN'S SOCCER SCHEDULE
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's soccer program and Head Coach Eric Da Costa have announced the Bobcats' schedule for the 2021 season.
The Bobcats will open the season on Thursday, Aug. 26 at home against Boston College.
Quinnipiac has four home non-conference dates: Aug. 26 vs. Boston College, Sept. 3 vs. UMass Lowell, Sept. 18 vs. Harvard and Sept. 24 vs. Northeastern. The Bobcats also have three away non-league matches: Sept. 8 vs. Sacred Heart, Sept. 11 vs. Central Connecticut State, Sept. 21 vs. New Hampshire.
QU begins MAAC play at the QU Soccer Stadium in Hamden on Wednesday, Sept. 29. The Bobcats then travel to Marist on Oct. 2 for their first road league matchup of the 2021 season.
Other home MAAC dates for Quinnipiac include: Oct. 6 vs. Rider, Oct. 16 vs. Niagara, Oct. 23 vs. Monmouth (Alumni Day), Oct. 30 vs. Manhattan (Senior Day). The Oct. 23 matchup against Monmouth will be a rematch of the 2020-21 MAAC title game.
The Bobcats final regular season contest will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Saint Peter's. The MAAC Tournament will take place on Nov. 7, Nov. 11 and Nov. 14 at the highest seed. The 2021 NCAA Tournament begins on Nov. 18.
The Bobcats finished the 2021 spring season with a 5-1-0 regular season record, earning the No. 1 seed in the MAAC Tournament. Quinnipiac went 7-2-0 overall, advancing to the championship match of the MAAC Tournament for the fourth time in eight seasons. QU has won four MAAC regular season championships since joining the MAAC in 2013, going 49-17-11 in MAAC regular season games.
