DiMuccio Named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Junior Netminder Made 14 Saves in QU Win at St. Bonaventure
EDISON, N.J. – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse junior goalie Nick DiMuccio has been named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday, March 31.
DiMuccio was stellar in the Bobcats' win at St. Bonaventure on Saturday, March 27. The junior made a season-high 14 saves, allowing just four goals on 36 shots faced. He stopped eight shots in the second half alone, allowing just one goal in the final 30 minutes of action.
The Bobcats' netminder now has 324 career saves. DiMuccio has a 51.6% save percentage during his time at Quinnipiac.
DiMuccio is the first Quinnipiac player to earn a MAAC weekly award. The Bobcats return to play on Saturday, April 3, traveling to Monmouth for a 4:00 PM start time.
