Peralta Claims First MAAC Golfer of the Week Award

Sophomore's First Place Finish at Hartford Garners League Nod
EDISON, N.J. - Sophomore Leeyen Peralta was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for her performance at the Hartford/Blackledge Invitational, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Peralta posted an even-par 72 to earn a first-place finish at Monday's event at Blackledge CC in Hebron, Conn. Quinnipiac earned first place in the event with a team score of 314 (+26).
The Brea, California native birdied four holes and played her first ten holes of the day at -3.
This is the second weekly award recognition that Peralta has earned in her young career.

Quinnipiac will return to action on Friday when it competes in the Hartford/Wintonbury Invitational at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Conn.
