Highlights Game 1 (L, 8-7):
Fourth Inning – Rider jumped out to a 3-0 lead until the Bobcats scored two runs in the fourth. With Rodriguez on first base, first-year Kayla Thomas hit a homer to left field to put the Bobcats within one of the Broncs.

Fifth Inning – The Bobcats took a 5-3 lead after runs scored by first-years Gianna Palmisano, Payton Sharon and Karolyn Walker. Seniors Brighid Douglas and Walked tallied singles and senior Kayla Jensen recorded a double.

Seventh Inning - Quinnipiac added two runs in the seventh inning off a single from Rodriguez and an error on Rider. The Broncs held on to win 8-7.

Notable Stats:

Thomas had one homer, one run and two RBIs in the loss.
Rodriguez had one hit, two runs and one RBI in three at bats.
Pitcher Tiffany Kennedy-Cummings recorded the loss and is 1-1 on the season. She had two strikeouts and gave up two runs in two innings pitched before first-year Julia Woeste replaced her in the circle.

Highlights Game 2 (L, 9-8):
First Inning - Quinnipiac jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning. Thomas got the scoring started with a single that allowed Jensen to score. Palmisano tallied a double, and Rodriguez scored. Thomas later scored after an error by Rider.

Fourth Inning – After giving the lead up to Rider who jumped to a 6-3 advantage, the Bobcats scored twice in the fourth. Sophomore Sydney Tedim notched a double and junior Bridget Nasir hit a two-run home run.

Sixth Inning - The Bobcats tied the game, 7-7, in the sixth inning. Tedim hit her second double of the game, followed by a single from Nasir. First-year Ela Henry and Jensen both hit an RBI single.

Eighth Inning - The game extended into extra innings and the Bobcats scored once in top of the eight. Henry recorded the run off an RBI single from Rodriguez. The Broncs came back and scored two runs in the bottom of the eight to walk off and sweep the doubleheader against the Bobcats.
