HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac baseball head coach John Delaney has announced the 2022 schedule, as the Bobcats get set to kick off the season on February 18 with a three-game series at St. Joseph's.
The Bobcats' campaign features 21 straight road games to begin the season before opening the home slate in MAAC play against Canisius with a three-game series from April 1-3. Quinnipiac will play 15 home games, with 12 of the 15 coming after April 10.
Quinnipiac's schedule features four NCAA Tournament teams from the 2021 season: NC State, Central Connecticut State, Fairfield and Rider.
After opening the season at St. Joseph's with a three-game set from Feb. 18-20, the Bobcats travel down south to North Carolina for a three-game set with ACC powerhouse NC State from Feb. 25-27. Following the trip to NC State, Quinnipiac heads to Virginia for back-to-back weekends for a three-game series with James Madison (March 4-6) and George Mason (March 11-13).
After returning to Connecticut for a date at Hartford on March 15, the Bobcats will head back down to Virginia for a three-game set with VCU from March 18-20.
After the final trip to Virginia, Quinnipiac will head back North for a five-game road trip to face Yale (March 22) and St. John's (March 25-27), before ending the trip with a date at Rhode Island on March 29.
The Bobcats host Canisius in the home opener and MAAC opener on April 1 to officially kick off their conference schedule before another stretch of four road games. In that stretch Quinnipiac will head to Boston College for a non-conference bout, before heading to Marist for MAAC play.

After playing 25 of the first 28 games on the road, the Bobcats will be home for 12 of the final 23 games of the season. The Bobcats host Hartford for a non-conference bout on April 12, before hosting Monmouth for a three-game set from April 14-16, followed by Yale on April 20. After a three-game trip to Iona from April 22-24, the Bobcats return home for dates against Bryant (April 26), Central Connecticut (April 27) and Manhattan (April 29 - May 1).
Following a three-game series at Saint Peter's (May 6-8), the Bobcats will return to Hamden for the final time in 2022 for two games against Fairfield (May 12-13). After concluding the Fairfield series on the road (May 14), Qunnipiac will close the regular season with a road contest at UMass on May 17, followed by a three-game set with Niagara from May 19-21.
The 2022 MAAC Baseball Tournament is set for May 24-27 at Richmond County Bank Ballpark on Staten Island.
