HAMDEN, Conn. – Coming off of the heels of Sunday's offensive explosion, the Quinnipiac women's basketball team looks to keep the ball rolling at home against Yale on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. from the People's United Center on ESPN3.
THE MATCHUP: vs. YALE
- The Bulldogs come into the contest at 5-2, squeaking out 71-64 home victory over Fairfield in their last time out this past Sunday.
- Yale opened the season with three straight victories, including back-to-back overtime wins in its first two games of the 2021-22 campaign.
- The Bulldogs are led by junior forward Camilla Emsbo, who's tops on the team in points (17.1) and rebounds (11.4) per game.
- Wednesday will mark the 15th Div. I meeting between the Bobcats and Bulldogs, dating back to their first Div. I meeting in 2000.
- Quinnipiac owns a 10-4 record against Yale and has claimed victory in three of the last five matchups.
- The Bobcats came up short in a 63-59 loss on the road in their last contest against the Bulldogs on Nov. 13, 2019.
- Mikala Morris led the way with 17 points, while Taylor Herd ('21) added 12 points and six rebounds in the loss.

- It was a total team effort as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team set a new Div. I program-record for points in a game in its 113-64 home victory over Hartford Sunday.
- Led by Sajada Bonner's career-high 18 points, the Bobcats had five players reach double-figure scoring for the second time this season.
- Junior forward Cur'Tiera Haywood added a season-best 17 points, while first-year guard Reiven Douglas contributed a career-high 13 points off the bench.
- The Bobcats reached 100 points for the first time since posting 109 points against Mount St. Mary's on Jan. 14, 2008.
- Quinnipiac shot 56.3% (40-of-71) from the field and 53.3% (16-of-30) from beyond the arc in the contest.

- In that same span, the Bobcats own a mark of 74-11 (.871) in conference play (NEC & MAAC) at home.
- Quinnipiac owns an 84-35 (.705) mark since November 22, 2017.
- Quinnipiac's extended home dominance is particularly impressive when looking at games against MAAC opponents, as the Bobcats stand with a mark of 65-11 (.855) at home in league games since joining the conference in 2013-14.
